The Elmass broaching tools simplify broaching. One minute is all it takes to assemble the broaches.

The Elmass push broach is designed to fit all machines that make a linear movement. This includes pedestal drills, lathes, milling machines, slotting machines and shapers.

The cutting depth is infinitely variable and allows hassle free broaching of undersized or oversized keyways. No shims are required! The tool is self centering and forces the slots to be in a 90 degree angle to the bore. Because the tip is guided at the point of cutting the slots do not vary over the entire length of the bore.

The single tooth broach offers many advantages. Just by selecting the right cutter the tools can be used to broach keyways, involute or straight sided splines, hexagons, internal squares and many other special shapes.

Special tool bars for blind bores are available. They have a smaller clearance between the cutter and the bottom of the tool. The blind tool bars are fixed in size and do not come with exchangeable guide bushes.

Four Standard Tool Sets cover the keyway range from 2mm to 36mm in bore diameters of 6mm to 150mm. The tool sets contain the following main components:
